On the approximately 400 kilometer long Water Castles Cycle Route you can admire a whole 120 castles and palaces in North Rhine-Westphalia. The route leads via the city triangle of Aachen, Cologne and Bonn through the beautiful landscape of the Jülicher Börde to Heimbach near the Eifel National Park and back to the Rhine. Our hotel is attractively located and many beautiful cities can be reached after a short distance. Aachen - the centre of the old imperial city with its cathedral, treasury, town hall, old town and various museums is only about 12 km from the hotel. Maastricht - the oldest city in the Netherlands invites you for a stroll, a boat trip on the Maas or a concert visit by André Rieu at his home Vrijthof. Maastricht can be reached by car in about three quarters of an hour.
