Directly from the hotel, first cycle up to the source of the Lahn, then cycle downstream along the 240km long Lahn Valley Cycle Path past idyllic river meadows, mysterious castles and historic towns.

The Marburg-Erndtebrück railway connection allows for a comfortable return journey by train, so that shorter cycling tours, e.g. a half-day tour to Marburg, are also possible.

MYTHS AND LEGENDS TRAIL
This hike takes visitors directly from the old town of Bad Laasphe along the Hainrot, Puderbach Valley and past the impressive Teufelskanzel. The trail offers plenty of fantastic views and boards tell interesting stories about the Wittgenstein legends. 12 km / 3 hours. 

The Ilsetalpfad and the Feudinger Rundgang are also recommended.

Berleburg Castle is the residence of the Princely Family of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. Parts of the princely art collection as well as collections of weapons and hunting equipment are on display in the castle. Bad Berleburg Castle is the centre of the historic old town. A walk through the castle park rounds off the visit.
