Regional slow food & the taste of childhood: Stiegl-Gut is all about the conscious enjoyment of natural, high-quality and sustainable organic products from the region, pure and unadulterated. The tables in the organic restaurant with the melodious name "Kråmerladen" are served with the perfect quality of everything that the estate and the season have to offer. Artichokes are baked, eggplants are fermented, parsnips are spread and kohlrabi is served in whey. The lardo from the Mangalitza pig melts in your mouth and the sausages from the Pinzgau cattle are refined with homemade hop gin. Our dishes are prepared in accordance with the natural surroundings. For this reason, the Romantik Hotel Stiegl-Gut is a member of the Slow Food Association. The restaurant is open daily from 10 am till 10 pm.

Freshly baked wood-fired bread, homemade jams, organic honey and hearty delicacies from the Biergut: look forward to a rich breakfast that reflects the whole variety of natural ingredients from the region and revitalizes both body and soul for the day ahead. Seasonal fruit and vegetables are not only served at breakfast, but also at culinary regular events.

A cold beer in the sunshine? The beer garden at Stiegl-Gut Wildshut near Salzburg is a wonderful place to enjoy a glass or two of beer. All organic beer specialties brewed on site, such as Wildshut Hopfenherz or Wildshut Perlage, a Brut de Bière, are served in the beer garden. There is also a selection of food, such as snacks, grilled dishes and cakes. The beer garden is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike and is the perfect place to relax after a hike or bike ride or simply to enjoy a hearty evening with friends or family.

The Hofladen at Stiegl-Gut Wildshut offers a diverse selection of high-quality regional products. These include home-brewed organic beers such as Hopfenherz, Malzreigen, Mystique, Antique, Perlage or Barrique XXIII, home-made spirits such as Hopfen-Gin, Rauhnachtbrand and Whisky No. 12, our own sparkling wine, natural cosmetics such as hop lotion or lip balm with honey and foodstuffs such as bread, beer salts, fruit spreads, beer vinegar, meat, sausage and cheese. Stiegl-Gut Wildshut attaches great importance to sustainable agriculture and regional production. The farm store, open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, is a popular meeting place for a coffee or a chat.

Head chef Stefan Sigl celebrates the art of purity and simplicity and inspires his guests to share. No wonder, as he perfected his craft in Scandinavia at the three-star restaurant Maaemo in Oslo and at Steirereck in Vienna, among others. He can indulge his passion at Gut Wildshut, where the philosophy of simplicity is pursued in its highest form. "On our estate's own fields, we grow rare ancient grains for the characterful beers, while Mangalitza pigs and Pinzgau cattle graze under fruit trees and all kinds of tasty and rare things grow in the garden," Stefan Sigl enthuses about his workplace. In short: if you don't want to choose just one dish from this abundance, there is the principle of sharing. All dishes can also be ordered in small portions. You can then taste and nibble together from the various bowls and plates that are all on the table. This is accompanied by one of the organic beers brewed in Wildshut and, of course, fish-baked bread, both made from home-grown organic grain. "I have found that the microclimate here in Wildshut is particularly suitable for baking bread. The sourdoughs literally explode," smiles Sigl.

Close your eyes and feel the warmth: in the hotel's small sauna area, you can immerse yourself in other spheres for a few moments and feel the tension slowly leave your body. Afterwards, enjoy a cool Wildshut beer or an organic brewed lemonade in front of the fireplace to restore your body's nutrients.

Make time for yoga and meditation: yoga promotes physical flexibility, mental clarity and strengthens the balance between body and mind. You can relax, reduce stress and sharpen your senses in the small room of silence. Take the opportunity to do something good for yourself and gain new energy and vitality.
