Take advantage of our creative islands, for example, which we have created for you in the pheasant house and in the boathouse directly on our small pond. In addition, you can use the extremely large open-air space - our private park. Whichever meeting room you choose, it will be individually tailored to your wishes.

The charming small town of Barmstedt attracts visitors with its historical flair and impressive architecture. At the idyllic Rantzauer See lake with its castle island, the old water mill and the lake park you will find peace and relaxation. Lake Rantzau measures just under 420 by 280 metres, has an area of 7.5 ha and is no deeper than three metres. In the years from 1934 to 1938, the lake was dug out by hand by the Reich Labour Service on the orders of the National Socialists.

In the species-rich tree park in Ellerhoop you will find peace and relaxation amidst the most beautiful blossoms. On more than 17 hectares, 4,000 different tree and plant species can be admired here, which present themselves differently in every season. Every year, more than 100,000 garden lovers and recreation seekers from all parts of Europe visit the arboretum for professional inspiration or simply to enjoy the beauty of the park.

Close to the Romantik Hotel Jagdhaus Waldfrieden you can discover an intact moor landscape, the sky moor, on the moor nature trail. 

Only ten minutes by car from our house, the Golf-Club An der Pinnau awaits you with international standard. The sports facility with 27 holes is located in a beautiful forest and water landscape and offers sporty golfing in a sociable and family atmosphere. As a family club, the club even allows children from the age of four to start playing golf. We would be happy to create an exclusive golf arrangement for you.

In just under an hour's drive you can reach St. Peter-Ording in the North German Wadden Sea National Park. Let the pleasant salty breeze blow around your nose and relax on the beautiful sandy beaches or while walking in the dunes. If you are more adventurous, you will find optimal conditions for kite surfing or beach buggy riding and kite surfing. SPO's most famous landmarks are the pile dwellings on the beach, which stand directly in the water at high tide.
