"Feet on the ground, head in the sky."
Built in 1902 as the stylish home of a respected shipowner, the hunting lodge has retained its original charm: small, refined and romantic. Set in the middle of a large park with a pond, it is an exclusive hideaway in the countryside of Bilsen. A popular meeting place for gourmets is the restaurant belonging to the hotel. Market-fresh ingredients from the region form the basis for the chef's imaginative compositions.
Your host
Host Siegmund Baierle runs this charming hotel lovingly and with great hospitality. He was once a guest in this hotel himself and fell in love with the property, which is reminiscent of a mixture of noble castle and charming witch's cottage. In 1982, he bought the hotel and renovated the property with great attention to detail. Today, he welcomes those seeking peace and quiet to his hotel, as well as creative types and connoisseurs. Look forward to a very special time-out in Hamburg's surrounding.
