If you wanted to describe the former Westphalian farm in one word, "green" would probably be the most appropriate answer. All the conference rooms not only offer daylight, but also an unobstructed view of nature. Away from the hustle and bustle, thoughts get going. A visit to the Picasso Museum is well worthwhile in Münster, a city full of life and charm. Those who want to broaden their horizons in a different way can go hot air ballooning or test their limits in the climbing hall and the high ropes course.

Cycling is a way of life in Münsterland. Münster is considered the cycling city of Germany and has more bicycles than inhabitants. Cyclists almost always have right of way here, on dedicated priority roads in the city or in the countryside. The Münsterland Cycle Park begins right outside the hotel door. Countless cycle paths wind through the flat, green landscape past moated castles, fortresses, mills and historic villages.

Münster is proud of numerous awards. The city was rebuilt in its original form after the war and today welcomes its guests in an authentic flair. Only 7 km away from our hotel, you will find the beautiful old town, the best shopping addresses on the Prinzipalmarkt and a lot of culture - from the churches worth seeing (e.g. cathedral, St. Lamberti with the Wiedertäuferkäfigen), museums e.g. Landesmuseum, Picasso-Museum, Freilichtmuseum) to the town hall with the Friedenssaal.

Wonderful destinations are the historically rich moated castles in the surrounding area. These include Nordkirchen Castle, the Versailles of Westphalia, Hülshoff Castle and Haus Rüschhaus, as well as the birthplace and home of Annette von Droste Hülshoff.

The Werse, which flows directly past the hotel, invites you to go canoeing or SUP tours. The Romantik Hotel Hof zur Linde offers 2 stand up paddles for rent.

Canoe or kayak tours on the Werse can be organised with the Canoe Club Münster, which is only a few metres away from the hotel.

The boat rental at the Aasee in Münster offers various water sports such as rowing, sailing or paddle boats and as a special highlight, the pedal boat swan made famous by the black swan.

Simply bring your own horse by arrangement. With its extensive bridle paths and meadows, the Münsterland is a paradise for riders. The hotelier family Löfken owns horses themselves and is happy to give tips for horse and rider in the Münsterland. The Westphalian Riding and Driving School Münster is only 4 kilometres away from the hotel and ideal for riding lessons and courses.

Especially recommended for children in Münster: the all-weather zoo with over 2,000 animals, the Aasee lake with boat rental and, in bad weather, the "Neverland"; a large indoor playground or the climbing hall.

Directly in front of the Romantik Hotel Hof zur Lindes you can hike into the Boniburg forest with its forest nature trail.

Those who love something special can enjoy their own little wellness area in the SPA junior suites of the "Hof zur Linde": the bathrooms are each equipped with a Finnish sauna, heated bench, experience shower and whirlpool tub.
