Beautiful and comfortable
Comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. Gorgeous lake view. So thankful for the upgrade! Excellent and friendly staff- (male) at the front desk. Perfect breakfast. We were delighted.

Hidden charges
I was very upset with hotel Europe because of an extra charge for another bed in our room. I had contacted Hotel Europe via email with questions regarding another bed in the room and the possibility of parking nearby. The response mentioned the cost of parking nearby, but made no mention of an extra charge for another bed, rather you stated you would simply place another bed in the room. The total cost for the stay was shared with me, but at no time did Europe mention there would be a cost for the extra bed.

Great experience
I loved this beautiful hotel. It was nice, comfortable and the people were very nice and friendly. The hotel is also very well located and I was able to get around easily.

Invito a considerare il seguito come critica costruttiva. Il soggiorno è stato piacevole ma la denominazione di categoria ROMANTIK Hotel mi impone dire che la struttura è al limite inferiore della categoria in paragone con altri categoria Romantik.. Una consulenza professionale viene suggerita per upgrading del hotel Europa.

Great location to art Museum, great bed, great pillow, great front desk help
The trheshold to the bathroom had me trip a few times. Might want to add a trim piece transtion or paint it a color to stand out.

Insonorisation intérieure de ma chambre
I could hear everything with the bathroom beside my room. The room is sparated just with a simple wooden door. Not very pleasant. The quality of the bed is outstanding.

Beautiful gem, minutes from Zürichsee
Overall was a great experience, the hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. Great location as it is located by the lake and walking distance from trams/buses/trains. Great breakfast, with fresh ingredients and a wide range of options plus good coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they meet all our requests and help us to navigate the city.

A clean modern hotel with excellent breakfast included and pleasant and helpful staff and management.
This is a quintessential European hotel. Clean, modern, and wonderful staff. The breakfast included is surprisingly delicious. The rooms are very small and compact, but I find this throughout most European hotels. Reception and management were kind, helpful and enjoyable to talk to, I would recommend this hotel highly. Finally, the location is perfect near the historic district and just minutes to the water and the other side.

Excellent staff, great breakfast, good room
Lovely stay at the hotel. The room could have been better (it looked quite old but not in a charming way, the bed wasn't extremely comfy) but everything else (staff, breakfast, location) was top notch.

very serviceminded staff
the receptionist was excellent, he was going the extra mile to make the stay perfect. Breakfast was good, the staff (in the morning) was not at the same high level as the receptionist. Would also recommend the restaurant for dinner, good service and food.

L'Hotel è situato in una zona centrale e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici, il personale è gentile e disponibile. La camera spaziosa, funzionale e calda con una prima colazione abbondante e varia. L'hotel è vicino al lago e al teatro sulla cui piazza era allestito un grande mercatino natalizio.

Accoglienza, cortesia e cultura.
Il nostro giudizio e’ decisamente positivo. Accoglienza e professionalità di tutto lo staff, a partire dalla reception, per passare dalla colazione e finire con il servizio di pulizie. Facilita bel comunicare con la struttura anche prima del nostro arrivo, per un check-in veloce e un check out altrettanto facile. Autonomia nell’accesso alla struttura anche in orario non servito dallo staff. Colazione dolce e salata con prodotti molto freschi.

The Romantik Hotel Europe in Zurich is located right next to the Opera House. The historic building is located in the north-east wing of the stately "Utoschloss", which was built from 1898 to 1900 directly on the shores of Lake Zurich. Today, Eva and Sebastian Kramer are the hosts of this charming hotel. They run the hotel with a lot of experience, heart and soul and always have an open heart for all employees as well as for the national and international guests.
