La Chartreuse du Bignac

This elegant country house built in the 18th century stands proudly near Bergerac and Monbazillac. Its traditional Périgord façade hides carefully designed interiors with antique furniture, tiles and old parquet floors in the lounges and warm bedrooms, each with a unique personality. Some have sloping ceilings while others have exposed beams. Whether in La Chartreuse monastery, the windmill or the old bakery, all the bedrooms look out over the 30-acre park, its ponds, its kitchen garden and its terraces of ancient box trees.
