Château du Colombier

Near the corsair town and its idyllic beaches, the Château du Colombier is one of those large country houses (malouinières) built by the shipowners of Saint-Malo. The beautiful 18th century malouinière has retained its authenticity. Wall paneling, 18th century allegorical paintings, monumental richly decorated oak staircases and fireplaces transport the visitor to an era of splendor. The spacious and bright rooms with waxed parquet invite romance. The 6-hectare flower park with a large terrace, a pond and even a chapel is a peaceful place to relax and feel at home.
